Hubert Fernando Ras, is a dedicated musician and cultural advocate with deep roots in Aruba’s artistic community.
Hubert began his musical journey as a soloist in 1979 and officially started his artistic career in 1983 with “Tipico Los Claveles.” Over the years, he expanded his talents across various musical genres, performing as a bassist, vocalist, and percussionist with bands like “The Arubian Band,” “Grupo Amistad,” and “The New Climaxxx Band,” among others.

Beyond his musical prowess, Hubert has also made his mark as a sound engineer, comedian, and music director, collaborating with numerous local and international artists. His versatility and commitment to preserving Aruban culture, especially through traditional instruments like the Cah’i Orgel, have earned him recognition and respect within the community.
