Rujina Comenencia is a dedicated kindergarten teacher, beloved by her students for her passion and commitment to nurturing Aruba’s future minds and leaders. She emphasizes creativity and a love for the arts in her teaching, recognizing their importance in personal and societal development.
Rujina’s journey in the arts and community service is rich and varied. She has been a vibrant participant in cultural events since her youth, from winning titles in beauty pageants like Miss Teen Aruba 2005 to performing with dance groups such as Twinkle Lights and Popcorn Dancers. She has also acted with Grupo Teatral Kibrahacha, participating in theater works locally and internationally, including representing Aruba at the Toyama Theater Festival in Japan in 1996.
Her involvement with Go Cultura stems from her deep-seated belief in the transformative power of arts and culture. As a dedicated volunteer, Rujina supports various projects, bringing her enthusiasm and experience to enrich the foundation’s initiatives.
